There are a million and one recipes for green smoothies and just as many reasons to try and get into them. You can buy great frozen ingredients for green smoothies from the supermarket (mango, berries, spinach) and I always freeze my own too - especially if it's not going to be used up. Kale, spinach, bananas, watermelon, peaches, apples......they all freeze really well. If you are time poor, you can even pre-portion out your smoothie ingredients and freeze them in a bag.
